Jennifer A. Serafyn is the Chief of the Civil Rights Unit at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. The Civil Rights Unit enforces federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in the areas of education, housing, employment, land use, and religious exercise, among others.

Jennifer is also a Lecturer in Law at Boston University School of Law.

Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2008, Jennifer worked as an associate at Seyfarth Shaw LLP where her practice focused on employment law.
Jennifer graduated from Boston University School of Law and Boston College.
